FLAG FOOTBALL | WOMEN's RUGBY

pathway to represent the philippines

Combine 2026 is the official athlete identification and evaluation initiative for Filipino heritage athletes pursuing the opportunity to represent the Philippines in Flag Football and women's rugby.

Working in partnership with the American Tackle Football Association of the Philippines (ATFAP), the recognized National Sports Association (NSA), and Agilas Pilipinas, both led by Interim President Bryan Reyes,  and Magandaquins, the program is designed to identify, evaluate, and monitor athletes throughout the United States.

While the immediate focus is identifying players for the upcoming Continental Qualifiers, the vision extends well beyond a single tournament. Combine 2026 is creating a long term athlete pipeline that will help build the Philippine National Flag Football Team for future international competitions, including the road to the 2028 Olympic Games.

The objective is simple: work alongside flag football organizations across the country that have Filipino heritage athletes, provide every participant with a standardized professional combine, and track each athlete's progress over time. Every athlete will complete the same series of performance tests measuring speed, agility, power, explosiveness, and position specific skills, creating an objective benchmark for evaluation.

As additional combines are held, the results will be added to a centralized athlete database that allows us to monitor development, compare performances, and identify emerging talent. Those official results will also serve as the foundation of a national ranking system based exclusively on performances recorded at sanctioned Combine 2026 events, providing a transparent and consistent pathway for national team consideration.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

what to expect

Players 12& up are welcome

The combine is open to flag football and women's rugby athletes ages 12 and older. To provide the best experience for everyone, athletes who are 18 or older, as well as those who will turn 18 by Spring 2027, will be evaluated separately from younger participants.

Each athlete will receive a numbered combine shirt upon check in. Every drill and test will be timed, measured, and filmed, with results uploaded to this website to create official rankings and track each athlete's progress over time.

Combine 2026 is not a football or rugby club, and athletes from all teams, clubs, and organizations are encouraged to participate.

We have one goal, and that is to identify talented Filipino heritage athletes, evaluate them through a standardized process, and provide a pathway to be considered for future opportunities with the Philippine National Team.

why join the combine

officially recognized by the national team

Although the immediate goal is to identify players for the Continental Qualifiers in 2027, this website is intended to be much more than a one-time event. It is a living database that will continue to grow with each combine, helping ATFAP, Agilas Pilipinas, and the Magandaquins Women's Rugby program track athlete development, monitor progress, and identify talent for future national team opportunities, including the road to the 2028 Olympic Games, and beyond.

Join us and be a part of the movement:

  • Permanent Athlete Profile – Your results become part of a growing athlete database used to monitor development over time.
